groove and glow trike show

Groove and Glow

Feauturing three performers, Groove and Glow is an outdoor interactive promenade performance by Curious Futures, a leading LGBTQIA+ arts organisation based in the North East of England.

Created in collaboration with artist Stuart Langley and Artistic Solutions in 2022, our custom-built LED trike equipped with a built-in sound system plays timeless disco hits that get everyone dancing. This lively, attractive promenade was originally piloted with the support of Winter Tide Festival, and previewed at Jack Drum Arts’ Crook Winter Light Parade in 2022.

This street theatre performance is ideal for public events, including, though not limited to:

-Firework displays

-Bonfire night celebrations

-Christmas lights switch-ons

-Winter parades

-Light festivals

-Bring Groove and Glow to your next event and let the

night shine brighter than ever!

Running time: 20-minute Promenade performance (up to 3 activations per day)

-Middlesbrough Christmas lights switch-on

“We booked the glow trike for our Christmas Lights Switch on last year and it was a proper crowd favourite travelling across the site like a mobile disco on wheels and building a following of willing party people (especially kids) wherever it went. Would definitely recommend!” - Middlesbrough Council
